2010–11 Saudi Professional League

The Zain Professional League was the premier league in Saudi Arabia, starting in 14 August 2010 and anding in 20 May 2011.
In the end of the Season 2008-09 the league was called ''Saudi Professional League'', but the league name has been renamed to ''Zain Professional League '' and the name stands for a mobile telephone provider called Zain which is now become an official sponsor of the premier league. This season will feature 14 soccer teams instead of 12 teams in the past and for the first time in the history of the league.
Al-Hilal was the last team who won the Saudi Professional League Season 2009-10.
== Qualification and Prize money ==
The Top three teams of the league plus the winner of Champions Cup will qualify for the AFC Asian Champions League.
Saudi football federation announced that Saudi teams will not participate in the next Gulf Club Champions Cup.
The Top six teams will qualify for Champions Cup.
and The bottom two teams in the end of the season will be relegated.



Prize money:
* First place: 2.5 million Saudi Riyals
* Second place: 1.5 million Saudi Riyals
* Third place: 1 million Saudi Riyals
